Abstract:
Corvus Gold Inc. is a North American gold exploration and development company, focused on its near-term gold-silver mining projects at the North Bullfrog and Mother Lode Districts in Nevada. In addition, the company controls a number of royalties on other North American exploration properties representing a spectrum of gold, silver and copper projects. Corvus is committed to building shareholder value through new discoveries and the expansion of its projects to maximize share price leverage in an advancing gold and silver market.
Presenter Bio:
Jeff Pontius has worked in the mining industry for over 35 years primarily in the exploration sector. He has lead the discovery and development work on five North American gold deposits during his career, including the world class discoveries at Cripple Creek in Colorado, and Livengood in Alaska, culminating in the discovery and development of over 40 million ounces of gold. Jeff has held senior management positions with AngloGold, Minorco and Nerco over the years, as well as being the founder and CEO of International Tower Hill Mines until his retirement in 2011. He is currently the President and Chief Executive Officer of Corvus Gold Inc., a company he founded in 2010, which recently announced a new +2M ounce gold discovery in Nevada. He holds a Masters Degree from the University of Idaho, School of Mines in Economic Geology, a BSc from Huxley College in Environmental Science, and a BSc from Western Washington University in Geology.
