Presentation Abstract:

Exploration Update for Eagle Plains Resources Vulcan Property

The Vulcan Property, located ~35 km west of the world class Sullivan SEDEX deposit, has significant potential to host stratabound Pb-Zn-Ag mineralization. The property is underlain by the Middle Proterozoic Aldridge Formation encompassing a >15 km strike length of the Lower-Middle Contact, the same stratigraphic horizon that hosts the Sullivan Deposit. Exploration drilling in 2022 returned the best results to date, identifying a broad zone of stratabound Pb-Zn-Ag mineralization and associated alteration that is consistent with SEDEX-style mineralization. Results from the 2022 diamond drilling and geophysical program shows that mineralization can occur lower in the stratigraphic sequence than previously known, leading to reinterpretation of the property geology and historic drill targets. This talk will focus on methodologies and results of past exploration programs and how Eagle Plains plans to move the project forward in 2023.
