New Promise in the South Walker Lane Trend in Nevada

The Southern Walker Lane Trend in Nevada is experiencing a recent surge in exploration activity.   Common opinions in the mining industry describe gold deposits in the Walker Lane Trend as higher grade, but small.  This notion is beginning to change as recent exploration activity could unlock clues in the geology.

Northern Empire has recently started a 15,000 m drill campaign on its Sterling project.  Other active drill programs active in the region include those of  Corvus Gold, Renaissance Gold, Anglo Gold and Equinox Gold (formerly NewCastle Gold).
